about

This track was inspired by long summer days spent listening and attending southern soul concerts. One of my favorite current soul artist is Tucka James. I love the bluesy feel of the music and the way people dance during the whole show. The intro of the piano groove however reminds of something Ray Charles would do back in the day

This track provides that down home southern blues feel and it speaks to the natural experiences we have in life of meeting someone new and them knocking you right off your feet. Enjoy this , sing, and dance a ton!

lyrics

Verse 1
Went by this lady's house just the other day, she was all alone
Said my man just left me for some other woman, how am I gonna make it on my own?
I did all I could to make him happy
Every now and then we get a little nasty
Although I gave him good good lovin
He always want to cussin and fussin
So I want ya right now to keep me company
While ya at it , I need a little hunny
Promise baby, I ain't gonna do ya wrong
With me is where you belong

Chorus:
Just call me Mr Fix it
Feel so good you wanna kiss it
If ya wanna, we can kick it
You can call me Mr. Fix it

Vs 2
I stuck around a little while
Just to see what would happen next
She starts rubbin on my leg, and kissin on my neck
I'm like , ooh ooh ooh wee baby
Are we moving just a little too fast
She said "boy stop playin, come over here and let me give you some of this...."
I couldn't resist, she was oh so fine
She had a cute smile and round behind
I quenched her thirst all night long
It was so good ya'll she said "this is your new home"

Chorus:
Just call me Mr Fix it
Feel so good you wanna kiss it
If ya wanna, we can kick it
You can call me Mr. Fix it

Spoken:
Now this the part where we break it down nice and slow
and you do that lil move you never did before
You know the one where the rebound made you forget everything going on
Ya'll show me what ya'll got going on

(Musical Jam)

Vamp :
Let me fix it , fix it for you baby!
